First and foremost, let me say that I hope all of our Rockin’ Dawgs family, both human and furry, came out of Hurricane Matthew healthy and safe. The last couple of days have been challenging ones and I want you to know that if any of you are in distress, I am here to help you in the aftermath of this huge storm as much as possible.
I wanted to give everyone a quick update on the facility. By some crazy luck, it seems we have come out of this thing unscathed! While I did notice some damage to other business signage, shingles missing and other such minor issues, I came in on Saturday to find everything intact and running properly. Even the famous Poop Station outside weathered the storm!
As of Saturday afternoon, all electricity and phone lines are running normally. So this means all classes will resume on Monday, October 10th, 2016 as normally scheduled and if you need to contact me for anything you should be able to reach the facility by phone now, instead of having to rely on email. (However, email is still usually the fastest way to get ahold of me!)
Again, let me say this. I consider all those students that enter our doors here a member of the Rockin’ Dawgs family and I care about everyone’s safety and well being. In the face of tragedy is when family comes together, so please let us know if you need anything at all. I look forward to seeing everyone back in classes this week and getting back to normal.
